Dr. Corissa Schumacher
PT, DPT

Corissa now resides in Wenatchee with her husband, where she enjoys back country flying/camping, outdoor activities of all kinds, and lending a hand at Alatheia Riding Center when she has free time.

Vision & Patient Care

Corissa has a heart for the underserved, thus far having opportunities to volunteer in Chile (Hospital Gustave Fricke), Haiti (Project Medishare), and Thailand (Warm Heart Worldwide).

Education & Experience 

Corissa graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University in 2008.  Her career has been diverse; she has worked in sub-acute neuro, sub-acute rehab/skilled nursing facilities, home health, and outpatient orthopedics.  Since 2020 she began expanding her training in the area of women's health, through the Herman Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute and the APTA Pelvic Health Academy.  She is grateful to offer services to women seeking healing for pre / postpartum complications, incontinence, and pelvic dysfunction.  Corissa is certified in the Graston Technique and has completed courses through NAIOMT, Mulligan Concept, and Muscle Energy Technique (MET).
